We left our Odessa, MO site at 9:30 to 56degrees, a 35 degree drop since the front moved through last night (arrived yesterday at 91 degrees). It rained during the night and got quite cool, but humid and much less wind.

We traveled east along Rt. 70 and drove again over the Missouri River towards St. Louis.  drove along the Mississippi River, then the southwestern beltway south around St. Louis, camping in Sikeston, MO.  This is near the SE corner of Missouri, near Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas and Illinois. We arrived 3:30pm at 89degrees and very hot and humid.

Tomorrow we plan to visit the last stop along our journey along the Lewis and Clark Trail. Our western Journey followed the Lewis & Clark Trail as laid out by the National Park Service.  We visited William Clark's grave site near St. Louis in Bellefontaine Cemetery. So on our eastern trip, we now plan to stop and view the grave site monument in Hohenwald, TN, of Meriwether Lewis, who shot himself here at Grinders Stand Inn, along the historic Natchez Trace.  More on that over the weekend.

From Lewis' grave, we will drive towards our campground in Goodlettsville, TN, north of Nashville. We hope to spend our final weekend away resting, going to a show at the Grand Ole' Opry, then worship on Sunday. We then plan to return home to PA Wednesday, October 10th.
