The Clearwater River is right behind our
trailer. 3 miles down the river is Lewis and Clark's
"Canoe Camp" where they made dugout canoes to
use on the Clearwater, Snake and Columbia Rivers.

Camp 18, Columbia Sun RV Resort,
Kennewick, WA, 2 nites, 407 ft.
Perhaps the most luxurious, spotless and best organized camp.
But, snooty: no tents nor tent trailers (pop ups) permitted, no dump station.
There had to be half a dozen $1,000,000 buses parked at this
camp, each pulling an auto or a pickup truck.

At this camp, the camp owner posted a sign that said, "Our
camp is only 20 years old. The camping sites may seem small,
but your rigs have gotten bigger." How true!

The camp owner is shutting down camp for the winter,
beginning tomorrow, 1Oct-18.
This is the highest elevation camp on our trip to this point.
